My Life Monday #5

June 12, 2017

Hello my people, the people of the internet just scrolling through, the people who are following me and decided to read this, the people that have seen this on WordPress or have seen my instagram, long story short, hello and welcome.

So looking back… I haven’t posted in two solid weeks. I absolutely hate that. So, the week of finals for those of you who hung with me through that madness, I survived. I scored higher in Spanish than I thought, and did relatively well in Geometry, got almost a C in Adv. English (I could rant about that one, but I won’t go there) and I didn’t really pay attention to the rest of them, my mind was basically in the zone to do whatever it took to study, and I didn’t really care to know the outcome, I just wanted to be done with it, but I am back.

On top of trying to study, I was also trying to run for cross country and work with my animals for fair… I know that doesn’t sound as difficult as it really is. But goats can be a pain, and I worked almost as hard as I could because I wanted to win advanced horse showmanship. By the time I was done with finals I was so happy to go swimming with my friends on the last. Friday I had to gain as much rest as possible to prepare me for the 4am and 5:30 am mornings that came with the adventures of fair. I also had to pack my stuff and get organized. I know myself well now, and I’ve done enough fairs to know that before fair my shiz must be together, and I must gain extra hours of sleep to make up for the hours I will loose… I also know I must pack a pillow.

On  Saturday I had a horse show all day. I was blessed to receive first in freshman showmanship and second in advanced… (so close to winning advanced as a freshman, there’s always next year.) I also did a bunch of other classes but if you want to hear about that comment below.

Anyways, next day was fair day, we took the goats down to the fairgrounds, where their was so much non compacted dirt you couldn’t always see straight. I got so many pimples and so much dehydration from this barn… dirt in everything! The only people showing goats this year were some seniors. Let me tell you, these seniors were the nicest people you will ever meet. Abby, Marissa, and Darek. I normally get anxiety by being around people but I forced myself not to get anxious and it made out for a great experience with these great people. They graduated, but in FFA you can come back and show one last time. Which is cool, but it was nice to not be the loner sometimes and they always made people feel included. Shoutout to Abby if she’s creeping on my blog again.

I did pretty well at this fair, 2nd in market, 2nd in showmanship, and 1st in breeding. Definitely an improvement compared to the last county fair.

I ate so much junk food though. Their was this little kid, Marlin, his heffer died, and his dad took him to fair so he could have the experience. So, we gave him an experienced… he decided he liked barn duty and cleaning the barn for us, so we had him to that, and I paid him in food. Lots of it, I spent like $20 on him. We had some good times that little kid and I… ate so much junk food.

Victor also went to this fair (refresher: Victor AKA Kevin, my best friend since 2nd grade). So we had some lit times together. On the first day to pass the time we played blackjack, and I took his money  face *devilish smirk* (not all of it of course.) Some days we were bound to our separate barns, but on the day I got my new camera we had a photoshoot… we actually had several, and we explored the fair grounds. It was super cool.

“Issie, don’t go in there” Victor said nudging me over back to the track.

“Come on Victor, live a little” She said pulling his hand and smiling.

Basically sums up the entire adventure.

Finally, auction day was upon us. I was so happy to get rid of Squirt (my goat). He was sold for $8 a pound… that’s really good. I was really happy, but I had to wait around all day to auction him off, so Victor and I had another photoshoot, and his mom bought me food. It was getting to be about evening time after I sold, and my mom was with me so we ended up looking around at the exhibits, and I was dying over the photography, and the sketches of Ed Sheeran, Tyler, and Josh from Twenty Øne Piløts.

Eventually we left and I slept hella good, as usual. The next night was awards night, and I was blessed to receive a plaque for winning 1st in freshman horse showmanship. Hours of boredom later, finally left the fairgrounds for good this time, got the check for my animal, and went home.

Today is June 12th, basically my first day of summer. I slept in, put on my music, snap chatted my friends, ran, worked out, cleaned the house, put on my makeup, got dressed. Good times man, I’m feeling good. So that’s where I’ve been for two weeks. I don’t want to do that again, but I had no time to prep posts. On the bright side when I update the blog for July and August, it is going to look amazing!

This blog means a lot to me, so if you find me tolerable, please like and subscribe for more, and follow me on my instagram @thatgirlissie for sneak peaks of July’s photos.

Photography Friday #3

Snapchat-772659207

This is the story of my fist FFA market goat project and my first FFA trip to the fair. I have been showing since I was nine so I am used to fair vibes, this wasn’t my first rodeo. I had a lot of help from my Ag. Adviser but I also tried to be independent. A lot of perpetration went into this project (mainly because I had raised this goat since he was born). It was two weeks ago we went to fair. Fair is a really cool experience, junk food, roller coasters, and animal exhibits and shows. It can be a very fun and sometimes educational experience. You keep your animals in barns, and you basically hang out outside all day doing absolutely nothing. One of my friends thought we hung out in a room with WiFi and AC… nope it’s almost like camping, but you come back home every night, then come back bright and early.

You weigh your animals one day, then you sit around awhile until you show. When you show you are in uniform almost all day, and where I live it’s normally about 90 degrees when I show, but it’s worth it, it’s really fun. Then you sit around some more for a few more days until auction when all your hard work gets rewarded.

This was my reward

My showday was all day. I was so tired at the end of it. I won 3rd in showmanship, 3rd in market, and first in breeding. and the picture right there was my reward. At fair the most important thing to get is a cinnamon roll. They are the best things ever and I look forward to them every year all year long, and so I had a cinnamon roll with ice cream, and that was the best thing of life.

My placing

You have to be at the fair every day all day, and it’s fun because you’re with your friends. We snap chat each other or play cards all day long, or sometimes we’ll even pr-ooze through the fair grounds looking at all the free stuff, educational exhibits, and how much fried stuff is offered.

IMG_20170505_143756
Accurate representation of how tired you are and how you’re willing to sleep anywhere.

On an added note to the picture above I tend to do a lot of reading and sleeping at fair… more sleeping than anything. I made a bed out of a box slightly shorter than my length and a pillow from a bag of hay… good times, good times.

There’s always free stuff that people use to promote their business, and this year a tire center had a Frisbee, so my friends and I would go out in a grass area and throw that Frisbee all over the place, and when it got lost, we would go get another one.

I am a sucker for fast rides and I love a good adrenaline rush. Lots of my friends (despite the agricultural background of our hometown) have never been to a fair, and have no idea what it’s like so this year I took them on what I call a ride night. We pay to eat junk food, buy cheap lame stuff, and almost puke on roller coasters. The day that we went on was the day after JoJo’s birthday so I just called this his birthday party.

Bright and early I picked he hyperactive boys up, and we went down to the fair grounds listening to my sick playlists (Spotify ispat1000). They ran around like dogs, they helped me change the goat’s waters and their feed. We played the game ‘Ninja War’ so much that you would think we were little kids, and we walked around the fair so much. At the fair we went to they had an abundance of anime march so the boys and I went crazy. Of course, I bought a Fairy Tail necklace.

We went on all the rides… except the zipper… the zipper can burn in hell that concussion giver! We had a blast, when JoJo and John weren’t about to puke. Juan and I were having a lit time and we were dabbing on every ride.

snapchat-2147331871.jpg
Far left with the Gryffindor hat I gave him is JoJo, the creep with his tongue sticking out is Juan, the girl with the double chins is me, and the boy eating my hair in the back is John.

Snapchat-958286142

While we were there we decided to play some hopelessly riged games, and John actually won! (Shocker to everyone) He won the dinosaur you see, we named her Dina… yew we checked it is a she… originally we thought she was a he and the original name was Dino but I saw it more fitting to change her name.

The little stuffed animal polar bear is Polly… Polly the Polar Bear. Juan won that little guy and decided to give it to his girlfriend… but he eventually forgot to do that.

Looking back that was such a good time with all of them, I just wished Victor could have came, because then the insanity squad would have been complete. I was so caught up in the moment of having fun with them but reflecting back it really felt like a great trip with such good vibes. Love you boys although I doubt any of them are reading this. Ah, my boys, my closest friends.

Good vibes=Good life

My Life Monday #3: Where I’ve Been…

May 21, 2017

Not that any of you were worried, but I clearly was gone for a week… no big deal this isn’t like a youtube video when a beauty guru is gone for awhile and then comes back saying that their life was changed. But I basically didn’t post for a whole two weeks. Heck, I posted Quote Wednesday #12 on a Thursday!

As you already know two weeks ago I went to fair, so the week after that I was catching up on homework. The week after the first of May I had no time to write posts because all weekend I was still caught up with fair, once I got home the first thing I did was sleep, then the next thing you know it’s been two weeks since I’ve posted. I have caught up on all my late work, but the reason why I didn’t post last week was because a teacher assigned a big project, and I was caught up in that.

I’m getting my blog back in order. I know I don’t have that many followers, and I don’t have many people that like my posts but this blog does mean a lot to me and I appreciate everyone that has subscribed and does like my posts.

It’s almost the end of the school year, I’m counting the days until June 1st… (11 days) But because of that I’m also going crazy getting ready for finals. In addition to that, my school gets out on a Thursday, and on Saturday I have a horse show, and on Sunday I am going into the fair with my goats for another week of good vibes and crazy. But if the week after school gets out is fair that means I have to balance studying with finals and working with my goats and horse.

It’s all good, but if I do start drifting from the blog, that’s why, but I plan to be completely consistent over the summer.

With all that said let me let you in on some of the fun stuff that has been going on the past week.

My school puts on this thing called mud volleyball. They make every class 25 minutes and we get out at noon. The teachers still try and teach us stuff although nobody is focused! The Ag department BBQ’s and it’s freaking amazing! they have several games of corn whole for anyone, and they have canopy tents for people to chill. They have grass volleyball courts but the fun part is the three side by side courts with canal water being pumped into them to make the mud. It’s a blast.

This was our team, Victor has me on his back, the other girl next to me on Adam’s back is my bestie Andrea, and Angela and Miguel are on the bottom. We were the Eliminators… and we didn’t last past the first game.

IMG_20170512_202247_138
My girl Andrea

But that’s fine because the school hired a DJ, and it was basically a big dance floor on the grass, everyone was barefoot dancing their life away. Of course I was freaking owning it because I love to dance. I was sometimes forced in the mosh pit of sorts, but I prefer dancing off to the sides sometimes with Victor because I have trained him from 6th grade how to waltz, chacha (well he already kinda knew how to do that), the swing, the twist, and a little bit of salsa. It’s so much fun doing the chacha and breaking into a twist then spinning into him and having him dip me. We’ve never really had lessons on dancing, but sometimes the middle school would have dances and we would dance together and it would look like crap but four years later to 9th grade we make a great duo.

IMG_20170512_202116_753

So I danced like a crazy person for about five hours until the day ended. JoJo played volleyball with us, he’s actually crazy good. His dad plays and coaches volleyball, he played on the JV team, but then got moved up to Varsity. He left to play video games after playing volleyball but I begged him for a picture.

IMG_20170512_201754_491

Before I left school I went to the ag building. So for the entire week before this day I had been campaigning to be my FFA’s chapter reporter, so I went to go check and see if I had got it. I didn’t get the position, but while I was heading to my dad’s truck I saw Andrea and Victor so I took a pic with some of my favorite people.

IMG_20170512_202353_803

That was a great day!

The week after that my FFA chapter was holding and award ceremony for all the kids that participate a lot. They gave out tons of scholarships, made food, and thanked everyone that had been supporting us.

I won Outstanding Freshman in Agricultural Science and Outstanding Greenhand because of all the stuff I had taken part in this year with my FFA. I also won a spot in the point award trip. They take the top 20 kids that participate in the FFA they take them on an all expense paid day trip. I think we’re going to Santa Cruz. I’m pretty stoked.

I’ve also been hanging out in the band room a lot, one of the fair’s I go to has a competition for who can write and perform the best original song, so I have been working on that as much as I can. I have to figure out the strum pattern for the song before school ends and recorded it before school ends if I want it to sound especially good, because the band teacher will let me use the box drum and record it in high quality.

In addition to all of that I’ve also been trying to train a little bit here and there. Because this week I have a cross country meeting to attend, and I must admit I am quite intimidated, so I’m trying to be as ready as I can be for next season. Although I understand I won’t be able to progressively train until summer break.

So that’s where I’ve been doing and what I’ve got going on. Please like and subscribe for more. I hope you have a good life, and comment bellow what you’re excited for in summer… or don’t, your choice.

My Life Monday #1

What’s cooking good looking? Isn’t it about time for an update? Well, you probably don’t care but I hope you read on. Today is the last day of spring break I am mentally hanging on by a thread. I went to church and everybody was talking about school, and I told them to stop using the “S Word” man that word sends shivers down my spine.

So, I have school tomorrow. WAIT. Did you feel that shiver too? I guess it’s just me. I thought I might recap Spring Break 2017.  I got a lot of time to relax. My friends and I made a lot of plans. I also did a lot of work, my goats are now in my opinion as fair ready as they can get, and I had a lot of good vibes.

My friends John, Victor, and JoJo all got together at my house so they could film at my house for their YouTube channels, and so I could film some things for a possible Film Friday. We took a surprisingly huge amount of Polaroid pictures, watched Nacho Libre and stuffed our faces with pizza, chips, and marshmallows. To top it all of I can’t hang out with JoJo without fighting, and we ended up fighting over the couch. It was a good night.

We took a lot of Polaroids…

My camera Brendon also broke. It scares me every time I think of it. I will probably lose my gig taking prom pictures for my friend, and that camera was like a piece of me because I love photography and now I don’t have a camera.

I am also starting to try and run more, I am running the mile at about 10-11 minutes, once I get into single diet minutes on my mile, I’ll start running two miles. I haven’t been consistently in shape, and not consistently eating healthy, but I am still in shape and still trying to eat healthy. I used to always show during the summer, but now I don’t have to! That means that although I have a lot of work to do, I can do actual full time workouts and have a lot of time to myself, and if JoJo isn’t always at summer camp, and some of my other friends are free we can hang more.

I should stop thinking about the future and focus about the present, because I have to pass my first drivers ed test so that when I turn 15 1/2 I can get my drivers permit. I don’t need to drive, but I would like to have my licence before I go to college, and it’s not like I’m going to have a car and be able to drive to school. Let’s be real high school isn’t a movie. I also need to get a handle on whatever the heck is going on in Geometry I love math, especially algebra but I have to understand how to take the numbers that are in the shapes and put them into the algebraic equations.

In all honesty despite how much I don’t want to go back to Hell (what me and my friends refer to as school), I only have to go for a week, because then the next week I am gone to the fair for another week with no school. But in reality I need to get everything squared away with my teachers so that I can keep my grades up. Last time I was gone for a week none of my teachers gave me the respected amount of time to make it up, not to mention every single teacher has a different confusing policy on how to make up the dang assignments.

But fair week will be great. So much junk food, and my friends and I planed a ride night so we can ride all the rides at the fair. It’s partially for JoJo’s birthday, the rest of the reason for having one is because all of my friends need to experience a ride night at a fair.

As usual this was all over the place, I’ll work on that but for now I’ll catch ya on the flip side.

My Faith Monday #2

Hey. Happy late Easter. So I have been meaning to write on the topic of a My Faith Monday for a while now. I could have done a review of The Chainsmokers new album (I love it), but with Easter I decided it would be most fitting to do a My Faith Monday. If you didn’t already know I am a Christian. I am going to be honest I am not a huge ‘Bible Thumper’ that preaches 24/7 and I’m not 100% close to God. I don’t completely understand the bible, and all the history but what I do have is my faith. I was trying really hard to feel God in me. The thing is though I was raised in a Christian family so I grew up knowing him. My church is very laxed, very small, and very much so my home. I wasn’t always exposed to all the things that the rest of my friends were (because where I actually live everyone is Catholic, not that that’s a bad thing) but as I grew up I started learning more and more.

Then some… things occurred within my family. It was like the glow stick being cracked. I had been in the dark so long, and I felt like life was breaking apart but then in the end life started to glow. That part where life kind of broke, was when God was working in my life, and now life is honestly great.

I still don’t completely feel Him in my life. When everything was breaking in my life, I would pray and yell and scream out to Him when I was alone and it felt like I was talking to a wall. I still don’t have an air tight relationship, and I am so bad at trusting sometimes I wonder if this is actually doing anything in my life, if this is real or not, but today I got a reminder that God is real, and He is alive, and that He is something true to believe in. You never know what to believe in sometimes, and you never want to be tricked and look like such an idiot for believing something that was never real because you were desperate but today I got a reminder that God is real giving me something real to believe in.

When we were talking about Easter at church today, I was reminded of not only the story of Easter, but I was reminded of the pure and true historical facts proving the real existence of God and those facts not being able to explain everything. Easter isn’t about a giant bunny that lays eggs for children all over the world, (which by the way makes no sense) but it is historically proven that Easter is the celebration of when Jesus the son of God was crucified, he was put away in a tomb, the very next day (Easter Sunday), he was found gone. He had conquered the grave and when He died and rose he took away our sins so that we may have an eternal life with hi. I don’t know it just kind of resonated with me. I don’t have any huge tight relationship with God, but I think I can feel him.

Fitness Friday #2

Not that this will be the most interesting thing in the world, but I find it quite helpful. Fridays are always the hardest, I never know what to do on Fridays, I don’t always get the time to edit pictures but if you have any ideas for what you want to see on Fridays, please comment bellow. And as lame as it may sound, we have over twenty followers on the blog now… *lets out a sarcastic yay* so thank you for supporting me and please continue to. Now on to Fitness Friday.

If you guys read my last life update post, you would know that I have been super busy, and I have not been able to work out everyday, but I am trying to work with my animals almost every day. It’s not always the same, but what does help is eating healthy so basically this blog will be about how I meal prep.

Breakfast:

Breakfasts are normally super good. I normally just try to have one main thing to eat that is filled with protein, because with protein you feel fueled for the first part of your day. Sometimes I just throw a bunch of fruit, frozen berries, and yogurt into a blender. If it comes out thick I will put it in a bowl and eat it with a spoon. I a bit of honey, granola, and berries on top. Note: honey and lemon juice are great for the skin so I try to use them in my food often. Another good idea following the smoothie theme is that you can freeze fruit in a bag, then take the bag of frozen fruit out when you want to have it then you take the bag of fruit out of the freezer and blend it. Berries tend to give you lots of energy. But if I’m not feeling like that I will take two eggs, spinach, cilantro, parsley, tajin, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, carrizo and whatever sounds good, and I just scramble it all with the eggs. Super protein filled, but you just have to pace yourself on the amount that you are consuming. There are many other breakfast foods out there but these are my top three so finally I am brought to the mug cake. This can be a healthy mug cake, or even a healthy dessert. Comment bellow if you want the recipe, but I make a breakfast mug cake ad I add blueberries for even more pizazz.

Lunch:

I try to make a sort of main course, then add snacks to it. For example last Sunday I made a pizza. The pizza was made of a gluten free bread, and I’m going to be honest I am no vegan or vegitarian, and I was raised by farmers so I know that organic isn’t always better, but this bread was whole grain, and it had less fat. Not to mention it was super delicious. (I was surprised that it was the first time I tried it). I covered that pizza in cheese, meat, veggies and spices. I cut the pizza up into moderate slices, and I had a slice every day. I would pre package the slices so in the morning it was a sort of grab and go. If you want the recipe for the pizza, just ask in the comments.

Another idea for the main course can be a shaker salad. I would make a salad, and shove everything I wanted into a Mason Jar. When lunchtime came I would put some dressing in it, shake it up, then eat it. I put everything but the kitchen sink in my salads just as well as the pizza.

The sorts of snacks I add to these to make a full meal is fruit, apple slices with peanut butter, trail mix, things like that.

Dinner:

I normally don’t meal prep dinner because I normally have time to make a decent dinner.

So thanks for reading, tell me what other things you want me to do. Comment bellow for those recipes. Next time I think I will try to better plan my post and add more pictures to show you. I also want to try to do Filming Fridays, and my friends and I are getting together so we can film some videos. I can’t film videos every week, but maybe once a month at least. Thanks again for liking and subscribing, if you find me tolerable please like and subscribe for more. Oh, and check out my instagram @thatgirlissie so that you can continue to see my photography, because some of my friends are having me take their prom pictures and have agreed to be in any form of social media promotion of themselves as possible.

Happy Easter!

April 10, 2017 5:09pm

What up party people?

I’ve never said that before, and I doubt anyone would ever want me to say it again. Life has been pretty busy and yet so dull lately. I don’t do my daily workouts every day because livestock showing is upon us. At my school’s FFA program you can go to three fairs. I happen to be going to all three of those fairs and showing three specis of animals.

Fair #1:

-Breeding goats

-Market goats

Fair #2:

-Breeding goats

-Market goats

-Horse

Fair #3:

-Breeding goats

-Horse

-Possibly a dairy goat

-Possibly a buck (uncastrated male goat)

If you can’t tell I am totally into the boat biz. I have three does (female goats) at my house, whom I have to breed this summer so I can have my own product of genetics to show next year. One of those does I plan to show at three fairs. I also have two wethers (castrated male goats). They are for market purposes (by the way goat meat is high in protein and super healthy). But long story short I have been showing goats for six years now, so at this point I breed my animals and do some real competitive stuff. Because I am so competitive and I want to win I put hours and hours in on these goats, and let me tell you, it gets tiring. I also have to work with my horse, which I have a lot of fun with, but it is time consuming. Finally I gave my heifer, that I plan to put into the beef bred heifer program that my FFA offers next year. With almost everything I do, I am in it to win it, and it takes time to make something worth winning, but I love to do it.

I also have been trying super hard to pull my grades up, and you guys probably know that I haven’t been that fluid with my blog posts, but that is because I have been doing so much.

I have so much I want to write about, I feel very inspired, but by the time I get to the blog on my to do list I am totally out like a light.

I try and go to school dressing somewhat fashion forward I guess you can say. I never do, but if I dress like I’m awake it forces me to stay awake sometimes.

Life is going pretty great, but if I’m being honest I still need to get myself straight with God. Just to start diving into him, if that makes any sense, a My Faith Monday is coming soon. As well as a Music Monday because The Chainsmokers just released a new album. <3.

I feel like I am starting to let myself be slightly extroverted more and more. I will never be an extroverted person, nor do I want to be, but just some of the traits that they have, are traits I want to resemble.

JoJo and I still fight all the time, but that’s just because we’re basically siblings. The other night I tried to play Pokémon Planet with him. I knew where I needed to go to get my starter pokémon, I just didn’t know how to get them, so I sat there for awhile until Joe came to the starting village to help me out, and we texted back and forth as I was training my Charizard, he was just beating the crap out of the little lvl. 4-5 pokémon arround with his lvl. 17. Eventually my computer died. Poor Fitz (the name of my computer, named after Fitz from Marvel’s Agents of Shield). I could not re charge it because I had loaned my charger to a friend, who had it over the weekend. Today is Monday, and I got it back.

Tonight I want to do some dancing, take a shower, then have an early night, because I haven’t been able to really take time to chill or do something I wanted to do, and dancing is very relaxing to me, so I’mma have fun with that.

Sorry that this post was so all over the place, but I felt it would be nice if I updated, besides, it was therapeutic for me too. Chapter I don’t know, I think five of It Girl just went up, so check that out, if you don’t remember what happened last chapter, in the search bar on the right of this post type It Girl Chapter Four, or you can just read my post called Chapter Reviews to keep up with the stories.

If you find me tolerable please like and subscribe. The subscribe/follow button is on the home page on my blog just below the section on my music, so please subscribe, and to like, the button is down below. Thanks to everyone that is supporting me, I love to write and this is what I hope to do for the rest of my life.

See you on Wednesday, catch ya on the flip side!

-Issie

March 30, 2017

It’s actually March 29th, Wednesday. I’m sitting here trying to get the blog squared away for the rest of the week. I tried to pull a chapter of The Telepathy Twins out, but it ended up just being horrible. Nothing’s wrong but I’m getting into a rut I think. It’s so stupid. Life is fine and dandy but something has to go wrong in my mind. Nah, not this time. I am literally fighting my mind a bit because while life is being all fine and dandy my mind is doubting itself trying to screw everything up. NO, NOT THIS TIME. I’ve been doing a lot of work. I’m trying to get my grades up, maintain the blog, clean the house, take care of my parents, work with my animals to make show goats out of them, I’ve also been trying to get over my anxiety, trying to really be closer to God and try new things. I guess it runs a person down. Now I know my mom is reading this, and saying you should take some of it off of your plate, and I should, and I think I will. The most time consuming thing keeping me from being able to do all these things is my mind, not this time. Geez man, I procrastinate, and my mind just makes up all these reasons why this thing I need to do is going to suck, and I don’t do it, or I do a bad job.

I had a pretty big week last week, but I need to bounce back. Maybe with experience this will come, but I want to be able to bounce back faster. When I got sick last week I totally shut down. I started eating bad foods, and when I would go to write, I just wouldn’t. Not anymore.

So the goals:

  1. Take care of my parents, and let them take care of me
  2. Drink lots of water

Life is actually pretty great, but I think my mom is right, and this is going to sound crazy but the devil tries to get in our minds and screws everything up. It sounds crazy, but I’m crazy, and I’ve had a lot of crazy happen to me in my life. Nah boi, not today mind, not today satan, I got God, and I got a good life.

I literally took the day off today. It was great, I tried to get as much work done as possible without overexerting myself. Could not get everything done. Not enough hours in a day, What’s that one saying? Rome wasn’t built in a day. Oh, damn it’s 8:13pm oh crap it’s almost my bedtime!

Catch you on the flip side!

Oh, hey, thanks for the people who stuck with me, and keep liking and subscribing although I was feeling like poop. I appreciate it, if you made it this far, please like and subscribe for more.

Photography Friday #2

Awhile ago, my mom and I were out looking at livestock, and while we were on our excursion out, we found a beautiful place with rolling hills, and beautiful mountains behind it. We decided that one day we would have to go and look at the place.

We found the place during winter, and we went back in spring. Where I live it was raining more than I could describe, so the change between winter and spring was quite beautiful.

Our day started at 5am and we were on the road by 5:30. I brought my Nikon camera Brendon (More about my camera type and full name in my about tab). I must say Brendon is a camera that focuses more on the glow of a picture. When editing and taking a picture there are many aspects about the picture but one of them for example is contrast. You have the contrast which creates lines that make objects in a picture crisp and visible, and my camera I find has more of a glow quality, which means that when I take a picture it blends the lines, makes everything much brighter, and makes things look more as I call, angelic. Glow quality in a picture makes them lovely, but they’re not good for all types shots. I love photography but this camera was like a small investment to see if I really loved it or not, and now that I do, I want to invest in more, and a good camera, but I am still a beginner learning as much as I can about this art technique.

Anyways. We were on the road to only God knows where. Listening to my Pump Up Pop playlist (made for positive motivation, working out and good vibes), and my Good Vibes playlist (self explanatory purpose) on my Spotify. My spotify is ‘ispat1000’, I don’t care if this is a self promo because I have good taste in music. I listen to rock, pop, christian, country, christian rap, rap, hip hop, alternative, indie, disney music, classical music, contemporary music, screamo, classic rock, old 80’s and 70’s pop. I recently made a new playlist called ‘I was born in the wrong generation’ it has old music from classical music, to classic rock. I’m still in the process of making it, but I think it’s pretty dope. I want to listen to more R&B, and hip hop to be able to relate to my generation more, but I need people to drop some artists in the comments.

An hour into driving, screaming the lyrics to “Edge of Seventeen” by Stevie Nix. We passed by this one orchard where I screamed pull over. We got a nice road shot. Normally when I take pictures its out in the mountains, where I can get in the back of a pickup truck and take pictures. But this was more of a visible picture so my mom told me to get in the truck and put my head down. It was super funny. I took this picture of my feet to remember this stupid moment with my amazing mom.

Eventually as we started driving we found another almond orchard, where I live they’re not that hard to find. When you find an almond orchard in the middle of nowhere you have to take a photo shoot. So I took some pictures of the blossoms, but the best part about it was I got the dew on the blossoms (which is now my home-page picture).

I also started posing in the middle of this little abandoned road. Where my mom took some pictures of me and proceeded to ask “Are you going to look at the camera?!” I did not.

Nope, did not look at the camera.

We kept driving and I don’t entirely remember everything but we just kept getting some amazing shots.

The rolling hills and the silhouettes of the mountains were absolutely beautiful.

Towards the end of our adventure my Mom spotted a red tailed hawk sitting on top of one of the orchard tops. She turned around and told me to get in the back with my camera ready. I had no clue what was going on for a bit, but then I caught it. The red tailed hawk. It was beautiful. I only wish my camera could have captured it in better quality. It is one of the crowning jewels to my photography.

All of these shots can be found on my instagram thatgirlissie. I post pictures every time I publish a blog post. Gradually as I edit those pictures, they are showing up there if you want to see more of my photography.

Thanks for reading, please like and subscribe for more. If you can give me tips for photography and names of artists that you love so I can find more music.

I hope you have a good live, and a amazing Friday.
