My Life Monday #6

July 2, 2017

Wooooooooooo. I don’t know. I’m just writing. This is how my mind works.

How are you? I’m doing well if you were curious. Having one of the greatest summers of my entire life.

Sorry for not posting on Friday this was my week:

Let’s start from what went down at the beginning of this week. Working out is so, so difficult right now. I am in so much pain, and working and working out twice a day is killer on me. I was alo in a little rut this week of the month, so I will hopefully be ready the next day.

Monday I was doing the best that I could, but I was also out riding my horse in the evening when it was cooler. I put on a good ride and my legs were screaming. But I think one of the best parts were I got to see one of my favorite people in the whole world. She is addicted to horse riding and I only see her once a year for fair, and it was amazing to see her.

Look, personally I am a goal oriented person and I am doing things all the time. It is so hard to be self motivated sometimes but I find that without even knowing I have to be around people that work hard and are goal oriented to and have a good energy that helps me. Most of my friends in school are honestly too young to be as self motivated as me, but they feel me with good vibes, but my older friends really push me and help me to push myself. It’s all just good vibes and it makes me happy.

We worked really hard on my horse riding skills so I could kill showmanship, and I gave it my all.

The next day was the horse show. I was up bright and early, got down to the show. My beautiful boy Halo was all ready to go. We won second in advanced, second in trail, second in equestrian, first in western pleasure, and first in horsemanship. It was amazing, I gave it my all, and I had such a good time. I was with this family that I only see once a year but all we did was lift each other up and congratulate each other, and we had an amazing time. Good vibes.

Wednesday, Thursday were surviving, but Friday. Friday I got to see somebody that I love very much. We have known each other since I was 9. She graduated this year and I absolutely love her. I slept over at her house for what was supposed to be one day, but ended up being two. We were clipping goats for fair, and I will tell you, that binds friends together. It was so amazing to be with her, and around her good energy. Her sister is also amazing and made funnel cakes. Uuuuugh so good. Because we’ve been going to fair together for years I felt comfortable with her family and their was no awkward period where you try and be on your best behavior, it was all super chill.

Nothing but good vibes and lots of goats. I can’t wait to see her at fair in a week, and again before she leaves to college.

Saturday and Sunday were spent clipping goats. My allergies were going off. But it was great being with those people and to sleep in my own bed.

So anyways that’s why I forgot to change the pictures a few days ago and yeah. Wow I’m such a good writer… and yeah. Okay I should stop while I’m ahead, catch ya on the flip side.

This is the story of my fist FFA market goat project and my first FFA trip to the fair. I have been showing since I was nine so I am used to fair vibes, this wasn’t my first rodeo. I had a lot of help from my Ag. Adviser but I also tried to be independent. A lot of perpetration went into this project (mainly because I had raised this goat since he was born). It was two weeks ago we went to fair. Fair is a really cool experience, junk food, roller coasters, and animal exhibits and shows. It can be a very fun and sometimes educational experience. You keep your animals in barns, and you basically hang out outside all day doing absolutely nothing. One of my friends thought we hung out in a room with WiFi and AC… nope it’s almost like camping, but you come back home every night, then come back bright and early.

You weigh your animals one day, then you sit around awhile until you show. When you show you are in uniform almost all day, and where I live it’s normally about 90 degrees when I show, but it’s worth it, it’s really fun. Then you sit around some more for a few more days until auction when all your hard work gets rewarded.

This was my reward

My showday was all day. I was so tired at the end of it. I won 3rd in showmanship, 3rd in market, and first in breeding. and the picture right there was my reward. At fair the most important thing to get is a cinnamon roll. They are the best things ever and I look forward to them every year all year long, and so I had a cinnamon roll with ice cream, and that was the best thing of life.

My placing

You have to be at the fair every day all day, and it’s fun because you’re with your friends. We snap chat each other or play cards all day long, or sometimes we’ll even pr-ooze through the fair grounds looking at all the free stuff, educational exhibits, and how much fried stuff is offered.

IMG_20170505_143756
Accurate representation of how tired you are and how you’re willing to sleep anywhere.

On an added note to the picture above I tend to do a lot of reading and sleeping at fair… more sleeping than anything. I made a bed out of a box slightly shorter than my length and a pillow from a bag of hay… good times, good times.

There’s always free stuff that people use to promote their business, and this year a tire center had a Frisbee, so my friends and I would go out in a grass area and throw that Frisbee all over the place, and when it got lost, we would go get another one.

I am a sucker for fast rides and I love a good adrenaline rush. Lots of my friends (despite the agricultural background of our hometown) have never been to a fair, and have no idea what it’s like so this year I took them on what I call a ride night. We pay to eat junk food, buy cheap lame stuff, and almost puke on roller coasters. The day that we went on was the day after JoJo’s birthday so I just called this his birthday party.

Bright and early I picked he hyperactive boys up, and we went down to the fair grounds listening to my sick playlists (Spotify ispat1000). They ran around like dogs, they helped me change the goat’s waters and their feed. We played the game ‘Ninja War’ so much that you would think we were little kids, and we walked around the fair so much. At the fair we went to they had an abundance of anime march so the boys and I went crazy. Of course, I bought a Fairy Tail necklace.

We went on all the rides… except the zipper… the zipper can burn in hell that concussion giver! We had a blast, when JoJo and John weren’t about to puke. Juan and I were having a lit time and we were dabbing on every ride.

snapchat-2147331871.jpg
Far left with the Gryffindor hat I gave him is JoJo, the creep with his tongue sticking out is Juan, the girl with the double chins is me, and the boy eating my hair in the back is John.

Snapchat-958286142

While we were there we decided to play some hopelessly riged games, and John actually won! (Shocker to everyone) He won the dinosaur you see, we named her Dina… yew we checked it is a she… originally we thought she was a he and the original name was Dino but I saw it more fitting to change her name.

The little stuffed animal polar bear is Polly… Polly the Polar Bear. Juan won that little guy and decided to give it to his girlfriend… but he eventually forgot to do that.

Looking back that was such a good time with all of them, I just wished Victor could have came, because then the insanity squad would have been complete. I was so caught up in the moment of having fun with them but reflecting back it really felt like a great trip with such good vibes. Love you boys although I doubt any of them are reading this. Ah, my boys, my closest friends.

My Life Monday #3: Where I’ve Been…

May 21, 2017

Not that any of you were worried, but I clearly was gone for a week… no big deal this isn’t like a youtube video when a beauty guru is gone for awhile and then comes back saying that their life was changed. But I basically didn’t post for a whole two weeks. Heck, I posted Quote Wednesday #12 on a Thursday!

As you already know two weeks ago I went to fair, so the week after that I was catching up on homework. The week after the first of May I had no time to write posts because all weekend I was still caught up with fair, once I got home the first thing I did was sleep, then the next thing you know it’s been two weeks since I’ve posted. I have caught up on all my late work, but the reason why I didn’t post last week was because a teacher assigned a big project, and I was caught up in that.

I’m getting my blog back in order. I know I don’t have that many followers, and I don’t have many people that like my posts but this blog does mean a lot to me and I appreciate everyone that has subscribed and does like my posts.

It’s almost the end of the school year, I’m counting the days until June 1st… (11 days) But because of that I’m also going crazy getting ready for finals. In addition to that, my school gets out on a Thursday, and on Saturday I have a horse show, and on Sunday I am going into the fair with my goats for another week of good vibes and crazy. But if the week after school gets out is fair that means I have to balance studying with finals and working with my goats and horse.

It’s all good, but if I do start drifting from the blog, that’s why, but I plan to be completely consistent over the summer.

With all that said let me let you in on some of the fun stuff that has been going on the past week.

My school puts on this thing called mud volleyball. They make every class 25 minutes and we get out at noon. The teachers still try and teach us stuff although nobody is focused! The Ag department BBQ’s and it’s freaking amazing! they have several games of corn whole for anyone, and they have canopy tents for people to chill. They have grass volleyball courts but the fun part is the three side by side courts with canal water being pumped into them to make the mud. It’s a blast.

This was our team, Victor has me on his back, the other girl next to me on Adam’s back is my bestie Andrea, and Angela and Miguel are on the bottom. We were the Eliminators… and we didn’t last past the first game.

IMG_20170512_202247_138
My girl Andrea

But that’s fine because the school hired a DJ, and it was basically a big dance floor on the grass, everyone was barefoot dancing their life away. Of course I was freaking owning it because I love to dance. I was sometimes forced in the mosh pit of sorts, but I prefer dancing off to the sides sometimes with Victor because I have trained him from 6th grade how to waltz, chacha (well he already kinda knew how to do that), the swing, the twist, and a little bit of salsa. It’s so much fun doing the chacha and breaking into a twist then spinning into him and having him dip me. We’ve never really had lessons on dancing, but sometimes the middle school would have dances and we would dance together and it would look like crap but four years later to 9th grade we make a great duo.

IMG_20170512_202116_753

So I danced like a crazy person for about five hours until the day ended. JoJo played volleyball with us, he’s actually crazy good. His dad plays and coaches volleyball, he played on the JV team, but then got moved up to Varsity. He left to play video games after playing volleyball but I begged him for a picture.

IMG_20170512_201754_491

Before I left school I went to the ag building. So for the entire week before this day I had been campaigning to be my FFA’s chapter reporter, so I went to go check and see if I had got it. I didn’t get the position, but while I was heading to my dad’s truck I saw Andrea and Victor so I took a pic with some of my favorite people.

IMG_20170512_202353_803

That was a great day!

The week after that my FFA chapter was holding and award ceremony for all the kids that participate a lot. They gave out tons of scholarships, made food, and thanked everyone that had been supporting us.

I won Outstanding Freshman in Agricultural Science and Outstanding Greenhand because of all the stuff I had taken part in this year with my FFA. I also won a spot in the point award trip. They take the top 20 kids that participate in the FFA they take them on an all expense paid day trip. I think we’re going to Santa Cruz. I’m pretty stoked.

I’ve also been hanging out in the band room a lot, one of the fair’s I go to has a competition for who can write and perform the best original song, so I have been working on that as much as I can. I have to figure out the strum pattern for the song before school ends and recorded it before school ends if I want it to sound especially good, because the band teacher will let me use the box drum and record it in high quality.

In addition to all of that I’ve also been trying to train a little bit here and there. Because this week I have a cross country meeting to attend, and I must admit I am quite intimidated, so I’m trying to be as ready as I can be for next season. Although I understand I won’t be able to progressively train until summer break.

So that’s where I’ve been doing and what I’ve got going on. Please like and subscribe for more. I hope you have a good life, and comment bellow what you’re excited for in summer… or don’t, your choice.

March 30, 2017

It’s actually March 29th, Wednesday. I’m sitting here trying to get the blog squared away for the rest of the week. I tried to pull a chapter of The Telepathy Twins out, but it ended up just being horrible. Nothing’s wrong but I’m getting into a rut I think. It’s so stupid. Life is fine and dandy but something has to go wrong in my mind. Nah, not this time. I am literally fighting my mind a bit because while life is being all fine and dandy my mind is doubting itself trying to screw everything up. NO, NOT THIS TIME. I’ve been doing a lot of work. I’m trying to get my grades up, maintain the blog, clean the house, take care of my parents, work with my animals to make show goats out of them, I’ve also been trying to get over my anxiety, trying to really be closer to God and try new things. I guess it runs a person down. Now I know my mom is reading this, and saying you should take some of it off of your plate, and I should, and I think I will. The most time consuming thing keeping me from being able to do all these things is my mind, not this time. Geez man, I procrastinate, and my mind just makes up all these reasons why this thing I need to do is going to suck, and I don’t do it, or I do a bad job.

I had a pretty big week last week, but I need to bounce back. Maybe with experience this will come, but I want to be able to bounce back faster. When I got sick last week I totally shut down. I started eating bad foods, and when I would go to write, I just wouldn’t. Not anymore.

So the goals:

  1. Take care of my parents, and let them take care of me
  2. Drink lots of water
  3. Eat healthy
  4. Work out every now and then
  5. Walk the animals twice a week
  6. Have a social life
  7. Do things
  8. Do your homework
  9. Keep in touch with the people you love
  10. Do more of the things you love
  11. Have a relationship with God got damn it let your guard down to let Him in

Life is actually pretty great, but I think my mom is right, and this is going to sound crazy but the devil tries to get in our minds and screws everything up. It sounds crazy, but I’m crazy, and I’ve had a lot of crazy happen to me in my life. Nah boi, not today mind, not today satan, I got God, and I got a good life.

I literally took the day off today. It was great, I tried to get as much work done as possible without overexerting myself. Could not get everything done. Not enough hours in a day, What’s that one saying? Rome wasn’t built in a day. Oh, damn it’s 8:13pm oh crap it’s almost my bedtime!

Catch you on the flip side!

Oh, hey, thanks for the people who stuck with me, and keep liking and subscribing although I was feeling like poop. I appreciate it, if you made it this far, please like and subscribe for more.

Chapter Reviews

So, I understand the fact that I have written a bunch of stories off and on, and over time I surprisingly have gained subscribers and followers. I normally write a chapter for the sories every other week… if I can. The two stories I have right now are The Telepathy Twins, and It Girl.

It Girl:

It Girl is the story of Skyler the shy cello playing girl that keeps it safe, but lets her emotions out on paper, and Annabelle, the rebellious lonely girl that hides all her pain. These two bumped into each other once but it didn’t entirely go well. In the second and third chapters we learn about the characters, and how they feel inside. Towards the fourth chapter the two of them start to collide in each other’s world again, being that they haven’t seen each other since. We also find that Skyler is a girl of high anxiety, and has a crush too.

At this point if you can’t tell something has to do with the two girls, Skyler and Annabelle, but you have to continue to read to find out the hell high school puts them through.

The Telepathy Twins:

It was suggested by my good friend JoJo to write this story. A story of a telepathic girl and a telekinetic boy, and brother and sister. I love this story, so the two of them always travel, because they can’t stay in one place for long. They traveled with their uncle Chase, the only person that knew their secret when they traveled to Arizona something happened to him. The twins are 17 but still technically minors, and even they don’t know the secret of what is wrong with themselves. They caught a ride from a man who turned out to be an agent sent to kidnap them. Now they are staying at a diner with a man who is giving them a roof over their heads in exchange for labor in the diner. They have no idea what makes them special, but they have no clue who to trust.

I will encourage you to read my past chapters to understand and to keep up with my stories. I post Short Story Mondays, and Photography Fridays. I usually post It Girl chapters every other week on Short Story Mondays, and I normally like to tell The Telepathy Twins stories with my original photography so I post chapters every other week on Photography Fridays. I wish you happy reading, and if you could like and subscribe to my blog, and comment bellow ideas for the next chapters and comment bellow what content you want to see.

So, I guess I’ll catch ya on the flip side.

Photography Friday #2

dscn41091walkingpic

Awhile ago, my mom and I were out looking at livestock, and while we were on our excursion out, we found a beautiful place with rolling hills, and beautiful mountains behind it. We decided that one day we would have to go and look at the place.

We found the place during winter, and we went back in spring. Where I live it was raining more than I could describe, so the change between winter and spring was quite beautiful.

Our day started at 5am and we were on the road by 5:30. I brought my Nikon camera Brendon (More about my camera type and full name in my about tab). I must say Brendon is a camera that focuses more on the glow of a picture. When editing and taking a picture there are many aspects about the picture but one of them for example is contrast. You have the contrast which creates lines that make objects in a picture crisp and visible, and my camera I find has more of a glow quality, which means that when I take a picture it blends the lines, makes everything much brighter, and makes things look more as I call, angelic. Glow quality in a picture makes them lovely, but they’re not good for all types shots. I love photography but this camera was like a small investment to see if I really loved it or not, and now that I do, I want to invest in more, and a good camera, but I am still a beginner learning as much as I can about this art technique.

Anyways. We were on the road to only God knows where. Listening to my Pump Up Pop playlist (made for positive motivation, working out and good vibes), and my Good Vibes playlist (self explanatory purpose) on my Spotify. My spotify is ‘ispat1000’, I don’t care if this is a self promo because I have good taste in music. I listen to rock, pop, christian, country, christian rap, rap, hip hop, alternative, indie, disney music, classical music, contemporary music, screamo, classic rock, old 80’s and 70’s pop. I recently made a new playlist called ‘I was born in the wrong generation’ it has old music from classical music, to classic rock. I’m still in the process of making it, but I think it’s pretty dope. I want to listen to more R&B, and hip hop to be able to relate to my generation more, but I need people to drop some artists in the comments.

An hour into driving, screaming the lyrics to “Edge of Seventeen” by Stevie Nix. We passed by this one orchard where I screamed pull over. We got a nice road shot. Normally when I take pictures its out in the mountains, where I can get in the back of a pickup truck and take pictures. But this was more of a visible picture so my mom told me to get in the truck and put my head down. It was super funny. I took this picture of my feet to remember this stupid moment with my amazing mom.

dscn40721

Eventually as we started driving we found another almond orchard, where I live they’re not that hard to find. When you find an almond orchard in the middle of nowhere you have to take a photo shoot. So I took some pictures of the blossoms, but the best part about it was I got the dew on the blossoms (which is now my home-page picture).

dscn40771

I also started posing in the middle of this little abandoned road. Where my mom took some pictures of me and proceeded to ask “Are you going to look at the camera?!” I did not.

dscn41201sittingroadpic
Nope, did not look at the camera.

We kept driving and I don’t entirely remember everything but we just kept getting some amazing shots.

The rolling hills and the silhouettes of the mountains were absolutely beautiful.

dscn42441

Towards the end of our adventure my Mom spotted a red tailed hawk sitting on top of one of the orchard tops. She turned around and told me to get in the back with my camera ready. I had no clue what was going on for a bit, but then I caught it. The red tailed hawk. It was beautiful. I only wish my camera could have captured it in better quality. It is one of the crowning jewels to my photography.

dscn42542editedeagle

All of these shots can be found on my instagram thatgirlissie. I post pictures every time I publish a blog post. Gradually as I edit those pictures, they are showing up there if you want to see more of my photography.

Thanks for reading, please like and subscribe for more. If you can give me tips for photography and names of artists that you love so I can find more music.

I hope you have a good live, and a amazing Friday.

Music Monday #2

March 11, 2017

I am way too excited to write this, way too excited.

Hello you beautiful human beings and welcome t my second ever Music Monday. Today I am finally reviewing Ed Sheeran’s new album Divide. I listened to nothing but this album for a few weeks. My top favorite songs are:

  1. “What Do I Know?”
  2. “Galway Girl”
  3. “Barcelona”
  4. “Biba Be Ye Ye”
  5. “Happier”

I can adore every single one of those songs, but you probably wouldn’t read all of that so I am going to review my top five starting from number five, kinda like a countdown.

Note: I have never been a hard core Ed Sheeran fan before this album I’ve only know the songs “Photograph”, “Don’t”, and “Thinking Out Loud” by him. Now I’m willing to say I’m a part of his fandom, and I can’t wait to see where his music goes. I describe him as a sit down play guitar, and sing kind of performer but you need one of those in your life.

5. “Happier”, this song is one of Ed Sheeran’s signature sad, slow songs, with only him and his guitar. This song is about his ex being with a new man and about how she’s happier with him. He mentions that his friends claim that he will feel that sort of happiness again, but he says he was happier with her. It’s that hard in between time when you have to move on, but you can, and the other person that you cared about so much has already moved on without you. It’s a lovely song, if we’re being honest it sounds a bit like “Stay With Me” by Sam Smith. But I love the sound, it’s peaceful.

4. “Biba Be Ye Ye” I love singing, and it is so hard to sing this title. It sounds and feels very original and as a person that loves to dance, this song makes me want to move. It’s about I don’t know, absolute nonsense. He talks about basically being hungover and not being able to remember what happened last night. I don’t know, I love it. It also talks about how when you’re honest with yourself sometimes life sucks, but that’s okay because when you live, life can be great.

3. “Barcelona” by God I love this song. I cannot listen to this song without dancing, this song is my true weakness. He uses his voice in a different way to create a cool intro, then he just sings about living it up in Barcelona. It’s so upbeat it’s amazing I don’t know what to say. The instrumental has a sax, and I just love sax, sax is like the way to my heart. I have a friend that plays sax but that is besides the point. The best part of the entire song is when this acoustic british male starts speaking spanish. I know I am a gringa, but I can speak spanish very fluently but oh my gosh his spanish speaking is hilarious. I love Ed Sheeran.

2.”Galway Girl” Wow, I, I love this song. It really shows some of his roots, and uses a fiddle, and I loves me some fiddle too. I want to be that Galway girl, damn. I always randomly break into song slinging the intro. I find it funny when he tries to rap, it’s funny with his accent, but I love it. It’s adorable. I listened to him play this song live and it was so good. For a guy playing a fast song with different instruments, it was amazing. He kept up with his rhythm so well with his guitar and his voice. Songs always sound different live, and over video and it was amazing.

1.”What Do I Know?” This song is definitely my favorite. It reminds me of “Castle On the Hill” I didn’t consider that song in the my top five list because it already came out the month before. This song give the best vibes, and shares fantastic value that I think we often forget just love, understanding, positivity. It actually gives me goosebumps when I listen to it. I’ll probably make a Quotes Wednesday out of the chorus.

Comment below what your favorite type of music is, and your current favorite song, if you’re anything like me your favorite song changes a lot.

I could always do a cover video if you would like, I can kinda play guitar, piano, and sing a little.

Catch ya on the flip side!

March 7, 2017 10:14am

Or assignments aren’t ready to do, and JoJo hasn’t mentioned if he wants to play Pokémon Showdown, so here I am. How are you? I am doing just dandy, I finally finished chapter four of The Telepathy Twins going up on Friday, and I am somewhat excited for it.

Today is going to be an epic night, I’m staying here after school to go to JoJo’s volleyball game, then grabbing my burrito and playing some dodgeball. Our FFA group is having a Burrito Dodge Ball meeting, where we have a dodge ball tournament, and we have a burrito truck come to the school. My friends and I are struggling to find two more people to get on our team, but whatever.

I can’t stop listening to Ed Sheeran’s new album, I don’t know what it is. I think my favorite song is by far “What Do I Know?” It’s just got good morals, good words, and I love to dance to it. Second favorite is hands down “Galway Girl” I will spontaneously pause in class and sing “SHE PLAYED A FIDDLE IN AN IRISH BAND, BUT SHE FELL IN LOVE WITH AND ENGLISHMAN, KISSED HER ON THE NECK, AND THEN I TOOK HER BY THE HAND AND SAID BABY I JUST WANT TO DANCE. MY PRETTY LITTLE GALWAY GIRL” while also singing the guitar patterns… I am an insult to all guitarists, but that’s okay.

I want to thank all the people that like, and subscribe to my blog. To be honest I love this blog so much, and I am constantly on it, and trying to promote myself as a writer, and photographer. So thank you to all who comment, like, and subscribe, even the people who take the time to creep my photography instagram. I post a picture every time I post something. I have had this blog going for three months now. I don’t has as much foot traffic as I did when I started this blog, but I have came a long way. I don’t have a billion subscribers, but I have enough to be able to reach people, and make a difference with my writing.

Don’t want to give an awkward promo, but my best friend whom I always talk about, JoJo has started a blog and decided he wanted to continue with it. But he wants to know that if he puts the effort in it will be worth it, so if he gets one comment he will try and make this a constant thing. http://www.chaoswriterblog.wordpress.com he’s insanely creative (emphasis on the insane), he’s got the best stories, so maybe give him a chance.

I have been trying so hard to get my grades up. I am on average one percent away from getting an A in all of my classes, and it is tearing me apart, but if I’m being honest I don’t have time to worry about it, I just have to get my work done.

Not to mention on top of the grad thing, I have been trying to eat healthy, but it’s hard when you’re a hungry teen and it’s lunch. Now I’m just trying to eat a shiz ton of protein to keep my energy up so I feel no need for food. Yesterday I did and intense ab, leg, and glute workout. I was so proud I did it, because it almost took two hours and a half… and I am so sore. But I enjoy working out, and as weird as it sounds I don’t like to eat junk food, I’ve heard that that’s something that happens when you start to exercise and eat healthy more. When I eat junk food my body instantly gets bloated, and I don’t enjoy it once so ever.

If you read this far, you are the true MVP’s, this is the first time in a few weeks I’ve been able to go on a life rant, hope you enjoyed.

If you find me tolerable please like and subscribe for more. If you get the chance also check out http://www.chaoswriterblog.wordpress.com .

Thanks, catch ya on the flip side.

Just dance to anything and escape

I understand that the set up for my workout is slightly overwhelming, but I really wanted to share my fitness routine, and maybe my fitness would be better if I would eat less crap, but one step at a time, one step at a time.

Like I said, what I love about exercising is that I escape and get all my emotions out. But their is no way I would be able to work out without the playlists I’ve made. I have very diverse tastes in music so check me out on Spotify ispat1000

Catch ya on the flip side!
